How long does a full body dip take?

Most services, including full body dips, take 3–5 business days to complete. Simpler services like badges, calipers, or headlights may be done sooner. We'll give you a more precise timeline when you book.

How do I care for my vehicle after a dip?
After-Care Instructions:
  • Wait at least 1 week before washing your vehicle
  • No automatic car washes — ever
  • Gentle hand wash only with mild soap and a soft cloth
  • Avoid harsh chemicals, solvents, and abrasives
  • Avoid extreme heat (e.g. pressure washers with hot steam)
What does the 30-day warranty cover?

Our 30-day warranty covers workmanship defects — issues that arise from our application process. It does NOT cover damage from improper care, automatic car washes, harsh chemicals, accidents, or pre-existing paint conditions. Contact us within 30 days of service completion for warranty claims.

Can I cancel my appointment?

Yes — if you cancel the same day you booked AND before we've ordered supplies for your job, you'll receive a full refund of your deposit. Once supplies have been ordered, the deposit is forfeited. All sales are final and no refunds are issued after service is completed.

Are door jambs included in a full body dip?

Door jambs are excluded from the standard full body dip pricing but can be added for an additional fee. Just let us know when you book and we'll include a quote for the jambs.

What finishes are available for Color Shift?

Color Shift is available in Satin and High Gloss finishes only — Matte is not available for color shift applications. It can be applied to a full body dip or as a partial wrap.

How do I pay my deposit?

Deposits are paid via PayPal to teddyjm38@gmail.com. The deposit is 40% of your total service price. The remaining 60% is due when we complete your vehicle.

Will the dip damage my factory paint?

No — that's one of the biggest advantages of a dip vs a traditional paint job. The dip is peelable and removable, which means your factory paint is protected underneath.

Whips Dipped N Drip ATL — Service Agreement

Please read carefully before signing.

1. TIMELINE

Standard service turnaround is 3–5 business days from the date your appointment begins. Timelines may vary based on service complexity, vehicle size, and material availability. You will be notified of any delays.

2. AFTER-CARE INSTRUCTIONS

By signing this agreement, you acknowledge and agree to follow these care instructions:

  • Do not wash your vehicle for at least 1 week following service
  • No automatic car washes at any time
  • Gentle hand wash only using mild soap and a soft cloth
  • Avoid harsh chemicals, solvents, or abrasive products
  • Avoid exposure to extreme heat sources

Failure to follow care instructions voids the warranty.

3. WARRANTY & LIABILITY
  • Whips Dipped N Drip ATL provides a 30-day workmanship warranty on all services
  • Warranty covers defects arising from our application only
  • Pre-existing damage, oxidation, rust, or prior paint issues are NOT covered
  • Damage from improper care, accidents, or car washes is NOT covered
  • Client assumes all risk for pre-existing paint or surface conditions
4. PAYMENT TERMS
  • A 40% deposit is required to schedule an appointment
  • The remaining 60% balance is due at the time of vehicle pickup/completion
  • Deposits are sent via PayPal to teddyjm38@gmail.com
5. CANCELLATION POLICY
  • Same-day cancellation before supplies are ordered = FULL REFUND of deposit
  • Cancellation after supplies are ordered = deposit is FORFEITED
  • All sales are final. No refunds after service is completed.
